Roadside Station Takehara is located in Honmachi, Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, right next to the Takehara Townscape Preservation District, known as "Little Kyoto of Aki." It is located along National Route 185, making it an easily accessible location for tourists. The facility offers a wide selection of fresh vegetables and fruits grown in Takehara, seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, and local specialties. In particular, since bamboo is the city tree of Takehara, you can find souvenirs unique to Takehara, such as products made with bamboo charcoal and bamboo crafts.
