Knife attack victim named as son of Sinn Féin TD
The teenage son of Sinn Féin TD Aengus O'Snodaigh is in hospital after being stabbed early this morning.
Sun, 27 Apr, 2014 - 12:17The teenage son of Sinn Féin TD Aengus O'Snodaigh is in hospital after being stabbed early this morning.
Fergus Ó Snodaigh (18), was taken by ambulance to St. James's Hospital in the early hours of this morning after emergency services were called to a house on the Old Naas Road in Bluebell at around 12.30am.
He remains in the hospital this morning where he is reported to be in a 'serious but stable' condition.
Deputy Ó Snodaigh is a TD for Dublin South Central and Sinn Féin’s spokesperson on Social Protection, Justice, Equality and International Affairs.
The scene of the stabbing is preserved for a technical examination and enquiries are ongoing.
Gardaí at Kilmainham are investigating.
