The KJK KJK229 camera requires eight (8) 1.5V AA Alkaline or Lithium batteries for power. It is highly recommended to use Energizer AA Alkaline batteries to maximize battery life. For optimal performance, especially in cold outdoor conditions, 1.5V rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are recommended as they store more power and perform better than standard alkalines. 1.2V Rechargeable AA batteries are NOT recommended as they may produce lower voltage, leading to operational issues.
