Flash全盛時代の恐怖ネタといったら、前回紹介した「こ〜こはど〜この箱庭じゃ？」と並んで思い出す恐怖ネタがあります。
その名を見ると「あー、あったねそんなの」と余裕で思い出せるレベルのネタ。その名も「赤い部屋」であります。

ポップアップが恐怖をそそる「赤い部屋」
「赤い部屋」ではこのポップアップ広告を発端に恐怖の世界を体験することができる物語となっています。
消えないポップアップを体験できる「赤い部屋 完全版」これなら今でもその恐怖を体験できるわけですが、今と昔ではブラウザ事情も異なっていることもあり、そのままの状態で体験しようとするとポップアップが出ません。
番外編：最後の恐怖を忘れてしまっていたがゆえに招いた恐怖さて、「赤い部屋 完全版」、最後の恐怖ってどうやって体験するんだったっけ？ と考えたあげく、Google ChromeからSafariに切り替えて試していたところ（筆者環境はMacです）、ひょんなことからその恐怖を味わってしまうこととなりました。
