Solution : First, we will write 3 times 4 mathematically.Using the multiplication table of Three, we have : 3 times 4 = 3 × 4 = 12 Hence, 3 times 4 is 12.
Example 2. Using the table of Three, find the value of 3 times 9.
Solution : First, we will write 3 times 9 mathematically.From the Three times table, we know that 3 times 9 = 3 × 9 = 27 Hence, Three times 9 is 27.
Example 3. Using the 3 times table, find 3 × 8.
Solution : The multiplication tables of Three shows that 3 × 8 = 24.
Example 4. Using the table of Three, find the value of Three times Three .
Solution : First, we will write 3 times 3 mathematically.Using the Three times table, we have : Three times 3 = 3 × 3 = 9 Hence, 3 times 3 is 9.
